FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises producing gas-fluid mix, feeding it into in-hole-conditions simulator (IHCS), separation by tested gas separator, feeding degassed fluid into accumulating tank and separated gas into IHCS hole clearance, smooth adjustment of gas and fluid flow rate and pressure, discrete variation of separation conditions, controlling foaming properties of circulated gas-fluid mix by adding various surfactants and/or by varying their concentration. It comprises also input, output and residual content of free gas, fluid and gas flow rate on IHCS inlet and computation of the coefficient of separation and flow rates of gas and fluid in appropriate output lines of IHCS. Note here that radial-flow pump flow rate is measured at its outlet, as well as work fluid temperature and residual gas content for work fluid forced back into accumulating tanks and volumetric fraction of gas dissolved in work fluid after separation to define total content of gas in work fluid reduced to pressure and temperature at gas separator inlet.
EFFECT: reduced error and time of measurement.
