FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: bench includes accumulating tank, fluid supply line, booster pump on suction main line, gas supply line, mixing device, tested gas separator (GS), gas and fluid discharge line from outlet holes of GS, pump on discharge main line, expansion tanks, supply system of surface active substances to fluid; at that, between GS and pump on discharge main line there installed is separating tank for separation of liquid phase from gaseous phase and evacuation of the latter from the bench, and in suction main line before GS there installed is mixing device the dimensions of which provide the required dispersion ability of gaseous phase in flow. Dimensions of separating tank are chosen so that speed of liquid lowering in the tank is smaller than speed of gas bubbles upfloating. Two sensors for measuring of volume flow rate, one before separating tank and the other one after it, are installed in discharge main line of the bench.
EFFECT: providing operating conditions of gas separators, which are the closest to operating conditions in actual wells, and providing the required dispersion ability level of gaseous phase at the gas separator inlet.
