SUBSTANCE: prior to operation of cable shell cutting, on shell of its main part by means of shell compression, on outer side at first a circular groove is formed, afterwards shell is cut near groove, and separated part of shell is pulled off cable to the side off circular groove. Device for method realisation differs by the fact that it is equipped with crimping roller installed on axis of knife, parallel to it, with gap between side adjacent surfaces of knives and crimping roller, at the same time diametre of crimping roller is more than diametre of disk knife. End of climping roller is arranged as rounded. Clamp is made of two clamping rollers arranged on axes fixed in body one over another and opposite to crimping roller and knife. Axis of knife and crimping roller is installed on slider, which is connected by drive of its displacement along body towards clamping rollers, which are fixed on axes arranged in a single plane, and gap is produced between clamping rollers, and a crimping roller is arranged opposite to it.
