FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. Two folded in two threads are brought through trunk through centre of proximal and distal ends of tendon with formation of loops and loose ends of threads on opposite lateral sides of different ends of tendon. Free ends of threads are passed over tendon subcutaneously. One loose end of thread is passed through loop with formation of subcutaneous tendon loop on both ends of tendon and knots are tied up on one lateral side of different tendon ends.
EFFECT: method ensures reduction of trauma, restoration of anatomical intactness of Achilles tendon and improvement of functional result of treatment.
