FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves creating at each end of an injured tendon a closed thread structure configured as convex quadrilateral vertexes of which match with points of prick in and out of a suture needle. Thread stitches are made in a plane perpendicular or almost perpendicular to a tendon axis with coupling the created thread structures together by means of matching sutures. The stitches of the thread structures and the matching sutures extend inside a trunk with a point of prick out of the delivered needle is a point of next prick in thereof. A tie of the thread creating the closed thread structure is embedded into the point of prick in and out of the needle. That is followed by using 2 or 3 matching sutures, each of which covers two stitches of the closed thread structure at each end of the tendon. The ends of the tendon are fastened in 4-6 points.
EFFECT: method prevents adhesive process, formation of scars and contractures, provides the more uniform adjoining of the end faces of the tendon to each other.
