FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in radar photogrammetry, in coastal monitoring and map-comparing navigation. The result is achieved through generation of successively emitted single and packet signals. Duration of the packet signal and pulses filling the packet vary in accordance with a given program with subsequent amplitude modulation in accordance with a defined time law. The single signal is generated by accumulating energy of the generated pulsed sequence with subsequent recuperation into a single pulse with high amplitude.
EFFECT: high resolution in spatial and frequency domains for a broad class of signal propagation conditions, including media with absorption and dispersion.
