FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed device includes low-pass filters and processing is carried out using reflected signals in digital form using a specially designed algorithm. Proposal is made to add a necessary number of analogue-to-digital converters in order to shift from analogue processing to digital processing. Shifting to digital processing of reflected signals enables to carry out correlation analysis of received reflected signals in order to fine the time moment of the corresponding maximum angular velocity of the object relative the radar installation.
EFFECT: more accurate detection of aerodynamic targets in a quasi-optical region of reflection of radio-waves due to elimination of the negative turboprop effect, adaptive selection of the most informative interval for forming the detection feature and use of maximum information in the matrix of frequency-angular fluctuation of signals reflected by the aerial target.
