FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural production and engineering, and in particular to a method and device for determining the bond strength of grain plant crops. The device contains the centrifuge with the rotor set on its motor axis. The centrifuge consists of two sections: the outer and an inner body placed in it, where there are the support frame for mounting the motor and the rotor, which contains the camera-carriers with a coordinate grid on the bottom of the chamber to accommodate specimens of plants from seed, covered with transparent material to create a closed air space. In addition, the centrifuge includes a measuring system that includes a system of videocameras, vibration sensors for measuring parametres of oscillations of the rotor, temperature and humidity sensors to control the parametres of air environment in a centrifuge, a block with the recording device: video recorder, vibration analyser, thermal hygrometre, located on the outer casing of the centrifuge.

EFFECT: improvement of quality of measurements and obtaining reliable information about the power of connection of crops with the grain, which enables to optimise the design parametres of agricultural machines and processes.
