FIELD: materials research.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of materials research. A centrifugal device for measuring the shear strength of ice adhesion to hard surfaces contains a servo motor, a protective casing, a disk for placing test samples, a temperature recorder, a stroboscopic illuminator, two digital video cameras, a video recorder, a monitor, a servo motor control unit and a climate chamber. The servomotor is placed inside the climate chamber, inside which the stroboscopic illuminator and the first video camera are fixed. A disk for the tested samples is installed on the axis of the servo motor. There are holes on the disk for fixing the tested samples with frozen ice plates. The first video camera is connected to the video recorder, the lens of which is directed to the disk to accommodate the tested samples. Outside the climate chamber there is a video recorder with a monitor, a servo motor control unit with a rotation frequency indicator. The lens of the second video camera is directed at the servo motor control unit with a rotation frequency indicator.

EFFECT: reliability of the results increases.
