CLIP AND METHOD OF CLIP ADJUSTMENT Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC B65B51/05

Abstract RU 2399565 C2

FIELD: transport, package.

SUBSTANCE: proposed clip comprises two clamping tools, adjusting means, position pickup connected with adjustable clamping tool. Clamping tools are arranged to move relative to each other between open and closed positions to close the clips. Adjusting means are designed to adjust initial position of one clamping tool, hence, the distance between clamping tools, particularly in their initial position. Camping tool is connected to measuring device to measures clamping force or magnitude proportional to it and to output measured value that describes clamping force or magnitude proportional thereto. Position pickup serves to generate and output values of initial position of adjusted clamping tool. Invention covers also the method of adjusting above described clip.

EFFECT: reliable clamping of clip around package envelope.
