SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the meat processing industry, namely to a clipper for the manufacture of sausage-shaped products, containing a gathering means for forming a folded section of a tubular packaging casing filled with a filling material, and a closing unit for installing at least four clamping means on a folded section. In addition, there is proposed a guide block for guiding the clamping means to the clipper closing unit, configured to supply at least two clamping means to the first locking device of the closing unit and with the possibility of supplying at least two additional clamping means to the second locking device of the closing unit. A method for making sausage-shaped products is also proposed, including filling a tubular or bag-like packaging casing with a filler material, forming a folded section of a tubular or bag-shaped packaging casing and installing at least two clamping means on the first section of the folded section, as well as essentially simultaneous installation of two clamping means on the second section of the folded section.

EFFECT: load is maintained by the casing in the places of its clogging.
