FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to compounds represented by double-strained RNA mediating RNA interference and including two complementary RNA-strands containing 17-30 nucleotides with at least one blunt end which includes 3'-end of formula I: , where X means O or S, R1 and R2 independently mean OH, NH2, SH, alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, arylalkyl, where alkyl, aril, alkylaryl, arylalkyl are optionally substituted with additional heteroatoms and functional groups where the specified heteroatom is chosen from the group including N, O and S, and the specified functional group is chosen from the group, including OH, NH2, SH, carboxylic acid and ester, or R1 and R2 can have formula Y-Z wherein Y means O, N, S, and Z means N, alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, arylalkyl where alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, arylalkyl are optionally substituted with additional heteroatoms where the specified heteroatom is chosen from the group including N, O and S; provided that both R1 and R2 does not mean OH.
EFFECT: offered invention allows eliminating the disadvantages of synthetic siRNA with 3'-overhanging ends.
