FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed method comprises heating of blank from aluminium alloy to temperature of thermal processing to solid solution (SHT) at heating station. Note that in the case of alloys not subjected to pre-quenching followed by ageing and maintaining SHT till to termination of thermal processing to solid solution. Blank is fed for 10 s to several cold dies. Forming is to be performed to minimise heat losses from blank and closing said cold die for forming the blank to formed component. Note also that forming is to be made in less than 0.15 s. Curing of formed component in closed dies is to be performed during cooling.
EFFECT: higher ductility and better mouldability.
