FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: method involves mechanised development of lower bed with softening of formation under roof and with further release of coal from it. In formation under roof there are intermediate entries located perpendicular to bottomhole of longwall; after that it is softened by vibration impact on it by means of vibroseismic vibration sources. Vibration sources are mounted in intermediate entries in support pressure area at the distance of not less than 15-20 m from the longwall bottomhole.
EFFECT: reducing losses and dilution of coal owing to its unobstructed release from formation under roof through openings of enclosures of sections of powered support.
