FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: block of cooling tower water catcher consists of deflecting elements coupled with clamping belt, and of spacing bushings arranged between deflecting elements for elements fastening and installation. The bushings have orifices for a rod whereon on an upper end there are positioned fixture elements. Also the deflecting elements are made in form of a slant lug with surface of hyperbolic shape in its base transiting into horizontal surface with a fringe of grated wire lug. Recessed angular thread is made on the spacing bushings.
EFFECT: reduced volume of drop moisture loss from cooling tower; improved ecology state of environment around it; raised rigidity and reliability of block connections on a whole.
