FIELD: catching water droplets in cooling towers. SUBSTANCE: water catcher has corrugated members joined together by means of pins and spacers placed between them. Baffle plates are made on either side of lower edges of corrugated members throughout their entire length; they are spaced apart and tilted through angle of 25-30 deg. to vertical, their width being up to 0.2 of spacing between corrugated members. EFFECT: reduced carryover from cooling tower and circulating cycle makeup requirement; improved environmental friendliness. 3 dwg
