FIELD: heat power engineering; condensed moisture catchers. SUBSTANCE: proposed cooling tower water catcher has wavy profile baffles installed vertically and secured. Baffles have straight-line extreme sections conjugated with middle curvilinear sections changing into vertical section. Extreme straight-line sections are made vertical. Arc of circumference of central section is 90 degrees. Ratio of distance between centers of circumferences over arcs of which middle sections are described to width of extreme straight-line sections is 6.7-7.0. EFFECT: reduced aerodynamic losses, reduced drop carry-over, improved operating conditions of fan blades. 1 dwg
