FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method for forcing of excitation current in electric motors of lift and discharge of mining shovel, designed to improve operational characteristics of electric machines of "digging" electric drives. Heavy duty operation of shovel provides for forcing of excitation in electric motors of lift and discharge as current of electric drive anchor exceeds current of set, equal to 75% of Istop and making 1.25 of Iexc.rated.
EFFECT: reduced cycle of excavation and improved efficiency of mining shovel.
