FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dentistry and aims at implant positioning in maxillary bones. It involves computed tomography (CT) jaws or a jaw whereon the implantation is planned. The findings are used to create a three-dimensional virtual model of jaws or a jaw. It involves optical scanning of a dentition or dentitions, or dental casts thereof to receive virtual models of dentitions and gums. The models derived by tomography and optical scanning are matched in the virtual space. The prepared model is completed with a projection of a prospective denture with using the denture databank. The prepared model is used to plan a bone position of the implant. Considering the planned position of the implant and dentition and gum scanning data, a former consisting of guide holes, a connecting bar and bearing supports is designed. Thereafter, the former is made.
EFFECT: method allows higher durability and structure dimension reduction, lower traumatism related to the implantation procedure.
