FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixers of fluids and loose materials to be used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical industries etc. Proposed mixer comprises housing with branch pipes and covers, shaft arranged perpendicular to housing axis, bearing support, drive and mixing device. Housing is made up of two V-like parts jointed together by their narrowing sections. Perforated baffle is arranged at the point of joint. Mixing device is made up of rods secured on housing walls at aforesaid narrowing sections and arranged at an angle to housing vertical axis to allow adjusting of rod inclination angle. The latter varies from 10 to 90 degrees.

EFFECT: higher quality of produced mix.
