FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to method for production of items from polyurethane composition using casting technology, and may be used in machine building, railway transport and other industries. Method includes preparation and pouring of polyurethane composition with content of isocyanate groups in amount from 4.09-6.5% into previously heated mould. Mould with polyurethane composition is installed into heat furnace for polymerization. Part is withdrawn from and is cured. After mould with polyurethane composition has been installed into heat furnace, it is heated and further cured at the temperature of 110-120°C for 0.5-2 hr. After curing of mould with polyurethane composition in heat furnace and prior to extraction of part from mould, direct pressing of polyurethane composition is carried out in mould with the help of hydraulic press at the temperature of 110-120°C, pressure of 20-120 atmospheres for 7-10 min. After part is withdrawn from mould, it is cured in heat furnace at the temperature of 110-120°C for 8-16 hr.

EFFECT: this method makes it possible to improve ease of manufacture and to increase quality of produced items, having higher strength, frost resistance and durability.
