FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of medical containers for storage and transportation of various biological objects with preservation of their properties. Forms are prepared to produce thermal insulation of thermal container, solid elements of thermal container are installed in moulds. First and second components of the mixture are prepared to produce foamed polyurethane, components are mixed in a mixer, the obtained mixture is supplied into prepared forms at their heating to temperature of 35–40 °C. Obtained elements are held in preset shape to extract thermal insulation element of heat container from mould. First component of the mixture is a mixture of polyethers and process additives, and the second component is polyisocyanate. Produced elements are removed from the moulds and the thermal container is assembled.

EFFECT: technical result achieved when implementing the developed method consists in obtaining a shock-resistant article with heat-insulation characteristics, which enable to maintain temperature from 2 to 8 °C for 72 hours with a cooling source.
