FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: surface of disk is ground before and after application of galvanic coating. Disk is ground by means of a grinding device secured on a bed of a friction machine. The ground disk is fixed on a shaft of the friction machine; a grinding head is fed by means of micro-metric screws; position of grinding stone relative to galvanic coating is controlled with micro-metric bars. The grinding device consists of an electric engine, of the grinding stone fixed on the shaft of the engine and of appliance for lengthwise and crosswise feed of the grinding stone. The grinding device is secured on the bed of the friction machine ensuring feed of the grinding head by means of the micro-metric screws; also there are additionally introduced micro-metric bars for control over position of the grinding stone relative to galvanic coating.
EFFECT: reduced non-uniformity of coating thickness, of radial runout of sample and spread of results of tribo-technical tests.
