FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering. Peculiar feature of the claimed tunnel LF antenna is that the sections of the tunnel cavity separated by gaps in between are metallized, roof bolting metal rods are uniformly immersed in semiconducting ground through the holes in metal coating of each of the metal-coated sections of tunnel along its generating surface, the rods are oriented radially from the centre of cross section of the tunnel into the depth of semiconducting ground, each arm of a symmetrical vibrator is made in the form of a set of K conductors arranged regularly along cylindrical surface generatrix with diameter of cross section less than the tunnel diameter and coaxial with its inner surface, the conductors forming the dipole arms are fastened to the surface of the tunnel by means of dielectric suspension.
EFFECT: technical result is higher antenna gain factor and antenna structural stability to impact and vibration loads.
