SUBSTANCE: measuring device can determine and record the concentration of an analysed substance in a liquid sample placed on a test sensor, and comprises a display that displays the information for the user; a display segment used to display a pictogram symbol "Before Event" and "After Event"; a button to enable the user's communication with the measuring device and to flag the concentration of an analysed substance with a corresponding pictogram symbol "Before Event" and "After Event". A memory unit records the final concentrations of an analysed substance. The method of flagging the concentration of an analysed substance involves the contact of a stick and the measuring device used for determination of the concentration of an analysed substance in a liquid; displaying of the concentration; selection between the symbols "Before Event" or "After Event"; and recording of the concentration of an analysed substance and the pictogram symbol of the event designations in the measuring device.
EFFECT: higher usability by children and patients who can not speaking the language of data entered.
