FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: coating of the product contains a gel formed from oily liquid and a gelling agent selected from organophilic clay, clay which can be turned organophilic, or mixtures thereof which form a gel with said oil. The clay is sepiolite, bentonite, attapulgite, hectorite, palygorskite or mixtures thereof. Fertiliser particles consist of dust-forming, hygroscopic and/or caking substance. The oily liquid and gelling agent selected from organophilic clay and clay which can be turned organophilic or mixtures thereof which form gel with said oil are fed to the particles in form of a mixture and gel is formed.
EFFECT: good physical properties, reduced dust-formation, caking and moisture absorption, reduced disruption of the structure of fertiliser particles, and the product the product prevents dehydration of hands when handling the fertiliser.
