SUBSTANCE: plasma display panel has a light-emitting region 15 surrounded by a sealed component 17, which includes a metal film tightly glued to first and second panels 20 and 30, a sealing component 41 which ties the first and second panels 20 and 30 to each other and lies outside the sealed component 17. Even when moisture penetrates the sealing component 41, the moisture cannot penetrate the sealed component 17 and does not fall into the light-emitting region 15. Since the sealing component 41 does not let in moisture, a resin which solidifies when exposed to ultraviolet radiation can be used in it in order to increase production efficiency.
EFFECT: prevention of gaseous impurities falling into the plasma display panel.
