SUBSTANCE: tight panel (100) is proposed, which may suppress increase in discharge voltage. Tight panel (100) comprises sealing material (20), comprising resinous material arranged along the whole periphery at the section between a pair of substrates (1, 2). Along inner periphery of sealing material (20) there is a gas-absorber (22) shaped continuously or interruptedly, which absorbs stranger gas released from sealing material (20) and stranger gas that passed through sealing material (20). Besides along inner periphery of sealing material (20) there is screen (24) formed continuously for protection against ultraviolet to prevent ingress of ultraviolet radiation generated inside tight panel (100) at sealing material (20).

EFFECT: development of tight panel capable of suppressing increased voltage of discharge and method for production of plasma indicator panel.
