FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: resistor with positive temperature coefficient (PTC) contains at least one composition with PTC which contains at least one resin and at least two conducting materials, and at least conducting materials contain at least two different conducting materials. At least one composition with PTC can contain the first composition with PTC which contains the first resin and at least one first conducting material, and the second composition with PTC which is compounded with the first PTC composition and contains the second resin and at least one second conducting material. At least one first conducting material at least partially differs from at least one second conducting material. One of the first resin and the second resin can contain reactant resin and chemically active resin which joins with reactant resin. Resistor with PTC can contain additive of fire-retarding composition. Resistor with PTC can contain fluid-resistant resin.
EFFECT: design simplification, improvement of PTC characteristics, increase in flexibility.
