ELECTROPHORETIC CHIP FOR USE IN THE FIELD OF ELECTROPHORESIS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC C12H1/00 C12M1/00 C12N11/00 C12N9/00 C12Q1/68 G01N1/00

Abstract RU 2756014 C2

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions generally relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to the equipment used in this field, namely to electrophoretic chips and a method for their use, and specifically to electrophoretic chips containing carbon matrix electrodes, and to a method for electrophoretic accumulation, separation and/or detection of analytes. The electrophoretic chip contains: (a) non-conductive substrate made with the possibility of supporting elements of the electrophoretic chip; (b) an electrode structure for conducting electric current through the electrophoretic chip printed on non-conductive substrate and containing a counter electrode and at least one working electrode. Each electrode contains a layer of conductive low-resistance paste printed on non-conductive substrate and a layer of carbon paste printed on the upper surface of the layer of conductive low-resistance paste to ensure its full or partial coating; (c) an insulating layer of dielectric paste placed on the upper surface of the electrode structure to ensure its coating. The insulating layer of dielectric paste has at least one hole above the counter electrode and at least one hole above the specified at least one working electrode to ensure the formation of at least one address area; and (d) a gel matrix for capturing molecules located on the specified at least one address area with the possibility of covering it to ensure the creation of at least one gel island area.

EFFECT: group of inventions ensures the achievement of a technical result, which consists in increasing the efficiency of the convenience of conducting electrophoretic processes while reducing material costs.
