METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SELECTION OF OPTIMAL BAND OF LIGHT FLOW, ENSURING MAXIMALLY POSSIBLE VISIBILITY RANGE, UNDER CHANGING UNFAVOURABLE METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS, CORRESPONDING TO PECULIARITIES OF VISION OF GIVEN OBSERVER Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B3/02

Abstract RU 2401641 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, physiology, technology, and is intended for ensuring maximally possible visibility range under changing unfavourable meteorological conditions, taking into account peculiarities of vision of definite tested person. Vision of tested person is examined by means of fog-imitating device, which represents chamber with one transparent wall, containing test-objects, equipped with set of radiation sources with narrow light flows with different light filters, filled with vapour of different density. In carrying out examination light flows and fog density are changed; curves of relative visibility of tested person, and taking them into account, light wave length, where sensitivity of tested person's eyes is maximal under different imitated weather conditions, is determined. Optimal band of light flow of several dozens of angstroms, ensuring maximally possible visibility range for said tested person under unfavourable meteorological conditions, is determined. Optimal band of light flow is divided into sections, numerated, and number of section, which ensures maximally possible visibility range under unfavourable meteorological conditions for definite tested person, is written in health certificate.

EFFECT: method allows to prevent traffic and other accidents under conditions of limited visibility.
