FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: provided is only one emitting section fitted with emitting sources of colour light flux in form of two-colour light-emitting diodes (LED) - red+green, which form a regular octagon lying in the central region of the section, eight rectangles adjoining the sides of the octagon, five triangles adjoining the outer sides of the top vertical and all inclined rectangles. There is also a unit for program switching of separate groups of LEDs. The following signals are illuminated: "stop" - red brick with thickening in the centre, "wait" - amber eight pointed star, "clear - straight" - green vertical section with thickening in the centre and an arrow pointing up, "clear - turn right and/or left" - one and/or other green inclined sections with thickening in the centre and an arrow pointing up, "move from current lane to the right or left" - one or other amber inclined section with thickening in the centre and an arrow pointing down.
EFFECT: unified multifunctional traffic light is characterised by simple design and low manufacturing costs, and also provides clear recognition of generated light signals.
