FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery, and aims at repair of atrophied alveolar part of mandible. A bone block consisting of two parallel bone plates is formed on a host bed of the atrophied alveolar part of mandible. One bone plate is fixed at its lateral edges directly to the surface of the host bed perpendicularly to a bone edge of the alveolar part or body of mandible by two titanium screws. The second is fixed thereover by another two titanium screws which are passing through both plates in their centres. The space between the bone plates is filled crushed bone. The distance between bone plates is determined by the extent of prospective repair.
EFFECT: technique provides the stable volume of the bone block for the reclaim formation period, creates the maximum contact area of the bone block and the host bed bone of the atrophied alveolar process.
