FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, namely, to production of cutting blades with undercuts. Moulding cavity made up of male and female dies and bottom punch arranged in female die are pre-filled with a certain amount of powder. Powder pressing is performed by top punch introduced via male die and bottom punch introduced in moving them toward each other to produce a blank. Each punch has opposite surface and mounting surface and peripheral surface arranged there between to form punch edge on intersection with pressing surface. Moulded blank is withdrawn by separating male die from female die and punch.
EFFECT: producing blanks with undercuts, reducing powder adhesion to mold elements.
