FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to facilities for compression orthosis selection and for its adaptation to extremity morphology. The facilities contain a digital simulator of compression effect on venous haemodynamics and a performance tool for blood flow rate and/or intravenous pressure determined by the digital stimulator. Also the facilities comprise a generator of compressive pressure ratings which can be applied to an extremity surface in the related set of predefined points. The generator of compressive pressure ratings accommodates a first data file creator the describing morphological characteristics of an extremity, a second data file creator describing dimensional and rheological characteristics of an orthosis, and a compressive pressure map calculator capable to derive compressive pressure from the first and second files.

EFFECT: use of the invention allows to estimate effectiveness of the preset venous compression so that to determine optimised pressure profiles.
