SUBSTANCE: invention relates to support/protective elements (26), which may be used in furnaces (1) for baking and agglomeration of large-sized materials, for instance limestone, dolomite, etc. In particular, the present invention relates to beam of furnace for baking of large-sized materials arranged at the level of zones (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) of processing in furnace, comprising central part, having cavities to provide for circulation of hot air and/or effluent gases to create an according system of circulation, and oil cooling circuit. Versions of beam and furnace comprising such beams are also characterised.
EFFECT: reduced wear, increased time of furnace maintenance-free operation.
