FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: depositing device includes a delivery line operating under pressure and transporting gas-bearing and a liquid food product under pressure, a piston assembly operationally connected to the delivery line and containing a piston and a chamber, an output opening for the food product discharge into moulds under atmospheric pressure, devices for pressure maintenance mounted so that to enable the product retention in the chamber under a pressure equal to that in the delivery line and the product discharge through the output opening as soon as the pressure in the chamber exceeds that in the line at drop of the piston in the chamber. The device for the food product production contains multiple depositing devices, a delivery line for transportation of the product being pump-transmitted to the depositing devices, a pump unit imparting velocity to the product being pump-transmitted in the delivery line and a source for gas injection into the product being pump-transmitted and connected to the delivery line, a pump unit mounted so that to enable gas delivery from the gas source and control of gas supply into the delivery line by way of the pump unit speed regulation. The method includes the food product delivery by the pump, gas addition, a constant pressure maintenance, actuation of the device maintaining pressure and depositing certain quantities of the food product saturated with gas.

EFFECT: invention allows to produce a product with more homogeneous properties of foam and weight control.
