FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly to method of producing doped iron alloys from iron-containing wastes. 75-80 wt % of cinder and 20-25 wt % of aluminium powder are mixed to produce thermit mix. Note here that, additionally, titanium carbide is added, some 10-12 % of the thermit mix weight, as well as molybdenum in amount of 5-10% of thermit weight, titanium di-boride in amount of 3-5% of thermit weight and silicon-barium ligatures "ФС65Ва4" in amount of 2-3% of thermit mix weight. Mix of powders is loaded into mould, combustion reaction is initiated to stage self-propagating high-temperature synthesis.
EFFECT: preset composition, high heat resistance, possibility to use at high cutting rates.
