SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of veterinary medicine. Method lies in the following: females of ruminant mammals are fed with composition, including conjugated linoleic acids (CLA) cys-9, trans-11 and trans-10, cys-12 in amount, efficient for improvement of reproductive function, in which conjugated linoleic acids consist in fact of cys-9, trans-11 and trans-10, cys-12 and which includes from 1 to 15 g of each isomer of conjugated linoleic acid.
EFFECT: reduction of number of animal insemination procedures, increase of absolute coefficient of insemination and reduction of period before beginning of pregnancy, as well as reduction of embryonic death of their offspring.
