FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the sphere of medicine, namely to roentgenology, and may be used for mammographic examination. For this purpose mammary gland is once scanned by X-ray radiation, scattered radiation and radiation passed without interaction in mammary gland along i, j vector of initial radiation are registered, distribution of average value of total absorption ratio and conditional value of scattering coefficient are calculated. At the same time conditional value of scattering coefficient is calculated on the basis of comparison of intensity of registration of radiation scattered by mammary gland with data for reference homogeneous structure and visualisation of distributions of numerical values of ratio between conditional value of scattering coefficient to average coefficient of total absorption.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain distribution of efficient atomic number in mammary gland after its single-time radiation, which in its turn makes it possible to increase sensitivity of method and to reduce errors of diagnostics in process of attenuated examination.
