FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates togas sources and can be used in system of transportation by generated gas pressure. Proposed gas generator comprises drive assembly 5 arranged on gas generator end face and at least two combustion chambers separated by web. Said chamber are closed by covers 1. Each chamber comprises igniting charge 6 and generating charge 7, filter 3 and fire pulse receiving assembly 4 arranged in the cover. Note here that chambers are communicated by fire circuit fired by common drive assembly. Fire pulse runs from one chamber to receiving assembly of the next chamber. Chambers are arranged in housings that represent cups 2 releasable-jointed so that one chamber bottom makes the web between the chamber and the next chamber and doubles as the cover of the next chamber.
EFFECT: simplified adjustment of generated gas amount, reduced weight and sizes.
