SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises reducing first particles of iron ore by loading it into reduction reactor with pseudoliquid layer, producing compacted iron-containing particles by pressing reduced first iron-containing particles, reducing second particles of iron ore together with compacted particles by loading second particles and compacted particles into reduction reactor with compacted layer. Sized of iron ore particles exceeds that of the first particles. Reduced compacted iron-containing particles and second particles of iron ore are loaded into gasification furnace communicated with reduction reactor with compacted layer. Lumpy carbon materials are prepared to make heating source for reduction of compacted iron-containing and second iron ore particles to be loaded in aforesaid furnace to produce coal compacted layer and introduce oxygen via tuyere mounted in melting gasification furnace.
EFFECT: reduction and melting of iron ore particles, reduced losses and ruled out conglomeration effect in reaction with pseudoliquid layer.
