FIELD: plant and method for producing melt cast iron.
SUBSTANCE: iron-containing mixture is prepared by drying and agitating iron-containing ore and additives and by passing it through connected successively reactors with fluidized bed. Then mixture is reduced and baked for receiving reduced material. Compacted layer of coal being heat source is formed for melting in it reduced material. Reduced material is charged onto compacted coal layer and oxygen is supplied onto compacted coal layer for producing iron. Reducing gas leaving compacted carbon layer is fed to fluidized bed. Each fluidized-bed reactor includes in its lower portion dispersing plate through which reducing gas passes and oxygen burner mounted on outer wall of reactor in region over dispersing plate. In process of mixture conversion to reduced material oxygen is fed directly and combusted in region where reduced gas is supplied to fluidized bed.
EFFECT: possibility for improving quality of reducing gas passing through fluidized bed and for preventing sticking of fine iron-containing particles.
