FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: for production of power there is used end gas escaping from installation of production of cast iron. The installation consists of a reduction reactor for production of reduced iron from iron ore and of a furnace-gasifier wherein there is melted reduced iron for production of cast iron. Cooling water is brought to contact with end gas and is transformed into high pressure steam; there is produced power by means of at least one steam turbine whereto there is supplied steam of high pressure rotating the steam turbine.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of installation.
