FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: sampled venous blood serum is dried, grinded to prepare a suspension in liquid petrolatun. It is followed with IR-spectrographic analysis in the range 1200 - 1000 cm-1 and determination of absorption band peak heights with maxima 1170; 1160; 1150; 1125; 1070 s-1. The coefficients X, Y and Z are evaluated in rotation of X axis around 30°, of Y axis around -28°, of Z axis around 72°. The X value is described as a relation of the peak height with maximum at 1170 cm-1 to the peak height with maximum at 1070 cm-1. The Y value represents a relation of the peak height with maximum at 1170 cm-1 to the value with maximum at 1160 cm-1. The Z value is a relation of the peak height with maximum at 1150 cm-1 to the value with maximum at 1125 cm-1. The formed three-dimensional image is projected on a frontal plane to derive two-dimensional coordinates in the form of diagnostic polygons, one of which represents "a health image" characterised by the parametres (x, y): 0.0972; -0.0111 // 1.0806; 0.3556 // 2.2028; 0.3722 // 1.8528; -0.1167 // 0.6028; -0.2000, the other represents "a diabetes image" characterised by the parametres (x, y): 0.2194; 0.1000 // 0.4139; 0.1722 // 0.6250; 2.2000 // 0.2361; 2.6222 // 0.0250; 0.4722.

EFFECT: use of the technique enables higher diabetes diagnosis accuracy.
