METHOD OF DIAGNOSIS OF MYOCARDIUM DISEASES Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, particularly, cardiology; applicable in diagnosis of myocardium affections of various origins. SUBSTANCE: method includes taking patient's blood; separation of native serum from blood; preparation if sample by drying of blood serum; introduction by mixing of obtained dried residue into Vaseline oil; registration of sample absorption spectrums within band of 1200-1000 cm^-1 and determination of height of absorption band peaks with maximum at 1170, 1165, 1150, 1140, 1125, 1100, 1070 and 1025 cm^-1; calculation: of: average values C of heights of said peaks, values S-ratio of peak height with maximum at 1100 cm^-1 to average value C of peak heights; value X of ratio of peak height with maximum at 1125 cm^-1 to average value C of peak heights; value R-ratio of peak height with maximum at 1165 cm^-1 to peak height with maximum at 1070 cm^-1, and low probability of myocardium affection is diagnosed at S <0.8 and X <0.9. Myocardium disease is diagnosed at S ≥ 0.8 and/or X ≥ 0.9. In this case, mild affection of myocardium is diagnosed with values 0.9 > S ≥ 0.8 and/or 0.95 > X ≥ 0.9; moderate affection is diagnosed at values of 1.2 > S ≥ 0.9 and/or 1.0 > X ≥ 0.95, and severe affection is diagnosed at values of S ≥ 1.2. In addition, if value R ≤ 0.42, possibility of development of myocardium disease of chronic nature is diagnosed. method allows making of diagnoses of myocardium diseases of various origins and differentiation of affection degree to prognosticate nature of disease course. EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnosis and its express and low cost characteristics.
