FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used in management of patients during pregnancy in order to prevent development of primary fetoplacental insufficiency. Sonographic examination is carried out. In sagittal plane of scanning performed are measurement of coccyx-crown size of embryo from the most prominent point of embryo's parietal bone to the most prominent point of embryo's coccyx and measurement of embryo's head from the most prominent point of embryo's lower jaw to the most prominent point of embryo's parietal bone. Ratio of obtained values is used to determine cerebro-corporal coefficient (CCC). If said index value is higher than 0.5, determined is impairment of embryo's body growth with respect to head dimensions.
EFFECT: ensuring reliable prediction of development of primary fetoplacental insufficiency.
