FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to endocrinology, oncology, and can be used in ultrasonic differential diagnostics of focal formations of thyroid gland parenchyma. By means of ultrasonic scanner, using histogram, average arithmetic value of echodensity of focal formations (AV), average quadratic deviation of echodensity of focal formations (SD) are determined. Coefficient K, ratio SD/AV is calculated in % and, if K=47.44-53.84 diffuse changes or norm are diagnosed, if K=53.98-66.04 - benign formation, if K=66.12-78.12 - multinodular goiter, and if value of K is 78.94-87.48, cancer of thyroid gland is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase objectivisation of reliability of TG neoplasm diagnostics, ensures differential diagnostics of focal formations in thyroid gland, eliminates X-ray loading on patient.
