SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmic surgery. Anatomo-topographic structure of iridociliary zone is determined by carrying out examination by methods of ultrasonic B-scanning and ultrasonic microscopy. Detected are presence of posterior detachment of vitreous body and prominence of all iris surface. Configuration of posterior chamber is determined. Distance between posterior iris surface and anterior lens surface and area of posterior chamber section are determined. If simultaneously fixed are presence of complete posterior detachment of vitreous body with height from 2.27 to 4.22 mm, presence of all iris surface prominence, presence of changes form of posterior chamber in form of irregular oval, distance between posterior iris surface and anterior lens surface is within the interval from 0.16 mm to 0.29 mm, area of posterior chamber section is within the interval from 0.63 mm2 to 0.93 mm2, conclusion about presence of indications for performing surgical operation by carrying out peripheral laser iridectomy with further ablation of eye lens is made.
EFFECT: method allows to determine indications for carrying out surgical operation in case of primary angle-closure glaucoma with lens-induced block.
