FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of structural polymer composite materials based on fibrous aramide fillers and polymer film binders intended for producing assembly units and parts for machine building, ship building, aircraft production etc. Proposed method comprises assembling the pack of layers of aramide fabric and polymer binder for it to be formed at increased temperature and pressure. Assembling the pack is performed using layers of aramide fabric and polymer binder in amount of 40-55 wt %. Prior to forming, assembled pack is placed in sealed jacket to be connected to vacuum system, evacuated to residual pressure of 0.07-0.09 MPa and held at 70-120°C for at least 30 min. Binder represents epoxy binder modified by rubber, PSU or epoxy resin "diaplast".
EFFECT: high elastic and strength properties, minimum porosity increased air tightness (sheet with thickness above 0,35 mm).
